Feelin’ DNA seeks to inspire visually impaired students and their teachers by providing tactile learning tools for STEM subjects. STEM curricula often focuses on visual aids, textbooks and online images that are largely inaccessible to visually impaired students. Our team is working to translate those images into 3-D models with simplified shapes and tactile cues that facilitate learning for visually impaired students as well as their peers.  Through collaboration with educators, students, and scientists we are creating a repository of models that will supplement the current learning environment.
